What we log, and what we do not

We keep a run sheet for bots, not for people. Here is everything this site actually records.

No accounts, no basket, no checkout

There is nothing to sign up for here and no way to pay us. You cannot create an account, there is no basket, and no card details ever touch this site — the buy stamp sends you to a product listing on a store, and the transaction happens over there under their rules.

What the server sees

The same thing every web server sees: which page was requested, roughly when, the browser making the request and a network address. We use it to find broken pages and to know which shelves people actually read. It is not joined up into a profile and it is not sold.

Email we are sent

If you write to bench@hexbots.pages.dev we keep the message so we can answer it, and so that we remember the answer when somebody asks the same thing about the same bot six months later. We do not add you to a mailing list — there is not one. Ask us to delete the thread and we will.

Product stamps point at listings on a store we do not run. The moment you land there you are under that store's own privacy terms, which are longer than this page and worth a read if that matters to you.

Changes to this page

If what we record ever changes, this page changes with it rather than a notice appearing somewhere else. Questions about any of it go to the bench inbox.
