On the bench
This is the pack we hand people first. One nano is a curiosity; six on a tiled floor is an event, and the flashing two make it readable from a chair across the room.
Six bots on one floor is the whole idea: kids pick a favourite by its printed design, call a race, and the two flashing nanos stay readable when all six are moving at once. There is no remote and no steering — the movement comes from a vibrating motor and a set of angled legs.
Nothing in the pack takes a remote control and nothing is rechargeable — each bot runs its own button cells until they fade. Two of the six carry lights, which is how you follow a race: hand the rest to friends, turn them all loose at once, and the closest thing to a prank is how long one survives under the fridge.
It sits on the nano bots shelf, in among the rest of the HEX BOTS robotic toys, so it went through the same yardstick as every other bot there before it got a card here.
Numbers our mechanic logged
Sizes, cells and surfaces below are what came off the bench; the ages are the maker’s call, not ours.

- PowerCells fitted in every bot

Who plays with it, and what stands next to it
Customers who want a floor full of movement start with this pack. Play scales with numbers: one nano is a curiosity, six is a swarm, and the experimenting is all about how tight a circuit the crawling legs can hold. The printed design makes races callable, the fun is near endless on a hard floor, and six bots in a box is a cool gift to hand over.
The playset walls and the launcher case both take these nanos, so the pack is the usual place to start. Nothing here climbs: that is the gecko crawlers' job, glow-in-the-dark one included.
Getting it, swapping it
Delivery, tracking, swaps and warranty claims are handled on the order page of the store you bought from — they hold the order, we hold the bench. Read how we split that in Doorstep & swaps.
The instructions in the box run to one sheet; our charge and care guide covers cells, run life and storage between runs. Surfaces and charging questions come to bench@hexbots.pages.dev, Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm ET.
