On the bench
Nano Land is where we test new layouts on the bench. A long straight is dull; a loop with one dead end is the thing that keeps three bots busy for an hour while they work out how to get back out of it.
Building the layout is half the play: forty-odd connectable pieces, two spinners and three bots that react to whatever you put in front of them. Kids end up experimenting with loops and dead ends, and the movement inside the walls starts to look like traffic rather than a toy let loose.
No remote, no remote control and nothing rechargeable in the box — the three bots move on button cells and the walls do the steering. The spinners turn when a bot wanders in, which is the cool trick, and the layouts are near endless. There are no lights and nothing glow-in-the-dark here, so friends who want a dark-room bot should start at the gecko shelf.
It sits on the nano playsets shelf, in among the rest of the HEX BOTS robotic toys, so it went through the same yardstick as every other bot there before it got a card here.

Who plays with it, and what stands next to it
Customers buy the playset once the nanos have started disappearing under the furniture. Play becomes building: a loop, a dead end, a spinner, and three bots crawling through the design you just made. The experimenting is the point, the fun lasts longer than any single bot, and there is no prank in this box — it is the one set a four-year-old gets as a gift.
Every nano you already own drops into the same walls, so a six-pack makes this set better rather than redundant. For climbing walls instead of building them, see the gecko crawlers.
Getting it, swapping it
Delivery, tracking, swaps and warranty claims are handled on the order page of the store you bought from — they hold the order, we hold the bench. Read how we split that in Doorstep & swaps.
The instructions in the box run to one sheet; our charge and care guide covers cells, run life and storage between runs. Surfaces and charging questions come to bench@hexbots.pages.dev, Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm ET.
